Crostini

This Italian signature food bite is now creamier thanks to Kasih hummus which gives you a perfect contrast with the crunchy baguette slices! These small slices of baguette are topped with hummus mixed with balsamic vinegar and roasted cherry tomatoes and chilli and are garnished with breadcrumbs and fried spring onions.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 packs Kasih Hummus 135 gm
  • 1 Baguette
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 10 cherry tomatoes, roasted
  • 5 red chilli peppers, roasted
  • 1 stem green onion, roasted
  • Italian herbs
  • Crushed bread crumbs

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cut the baguette into slices.
  2. Mix together the Hummus and balsamic vinegar.
  3. Spread the balsamic Hummus onto the slices of bread. Top with roasted tomatoes, chilli peppers and onions.

GARNISH

Garnish with Italian herbs and crushed bread crumbs
