Open Hummus & Prawns Sandwich

Who knew hummus and seafood can become an item? This open sandwich is an instant gourmet favourite, mix Kasih hummus with chopped dill and lemon juice and use as a creamy bed for the seasoned shrimp. Garnish the open sandwiches with basil leaves, diced lemons and a pinch of turmeric.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pack Kasih Hummus 135 gm
  • 3 slices white toast bread
  • 300 gm baby prawns, cooked to perfection
  • Lemon slice, cut into mini triangles
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons dill, chopped
  • Basil leaves and a dash of turmeric for garnish

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix the hummus with the shopped dill and lemon juice, spread on the toast bread slices.
  2. Season the prawns with black pepper; add them on top of the toast bread slices equally.

GARNISH

Garnish with lemon triangles, basil leaves and a dash of turmeric.
